Ok - the plan was that the kids got their own little snack and play-past-bedtime party in their room while us adults partied downstairs. It worked pretty well last year.....
You can see some of the munchies at the bottom of the pic. One of Dan's and my favorites was the Danish Puff I made using Grandma Werner's recipe.
Every year I try and have at least 1 or 2 organized games. But the "Popcorn Toss" makes it on the list every year. Couples stand across from each other and see how many kernals of popcorn they can throw into each others mouths in 2-3 minutes. I think the winners this year got 26.
OK - so this year was a large turnout and pretty noisy. The kids did not stay upstairs as well as last year and came down often. Here you see Krystin our "sneek" snacking on popcorn during the popcorn toss game. (she almost snuck a beer, too!)
