This Past Weekend

Friday, March 23rd was a nice day, so the kids decided to do the first mow and weed-whack of the season :)

On Fridays we try and do "Family Fun Night". This night we played hide-and-go-seek. Ethan and Kaylin were fighting over the laundry basket spot, so Dan helped them compromise. :)

On Saturday Dan was finishing putting the trim in the downstairs bathroom using the nail gun, so I took the kids out of his hair by taking them to the mall. Just before leaving the mall, we stopped in the Disney store and Ethan and Kaylin were enraptured by the sunglasses. So I decided spending $4 a pair verses $3 at Wal Mart was worth it if they would actually WEAR them! Ethan picked out buzz lightyear and Kaylin got tinkerbell (they have watched Peter Pan lately).

They wore them the whole van ride home....even with the packaging on :)

Bouncing Boulders

On Tuesday, March 6th, we brought back a game called "Bouncing Boulders". We hadn't played this since before Krystin was born. Basically, the kids wait at the top of the stairs with their plastic balls while Mom sets up various toys at the bottom of the stairs. Then they release the balls and try to knock over the toys.

These pics are from March 1st. (Yes, I know, V-Day was Feb 14th. But the package was delayed waiting for vitamins,..... we get our shaklee vitamins from Sherry....and ice storms in Iowa) Anyway, the kids didn't mind, or notice, the delay :)

Sorry. We've been a little sick, occupied with various obligations, and setting up our NEW COMPTER!!!! YEAH!!! (yah, yah, working on the web cam, skype, video on blog, etc....... but I'm still getting used to all the changes and new features. Sheesh! Give me a break.
