Late March 2010
Plasma cars in action
While 2 plasma car it, one scooters
SPRING SOCCER . . .
(That feels like winter soccer)
I love the Upwards sport program.
The emphasis is on God, sportsmanship, and just having fun while learning the game.
Perfect for our kids.
Half time is spent by both teams hearing a short devotional and praying together.
Ethan's team (Ethan is just to the left of blue hat boy)
Girls' team

(Last week she scored a goal!)
Krystin in action :)
At least in this pic, she is supposed to be off the field.
Many "on-field" moments were spent crawling or crying....
(Although - the past 2 weeks she's been "in" the game and a real go-getter!)
Ethan did a good job this year of going after the ball.
Had several good ball-touches :)
Our almost 8-year-old Boy
Did I post this already? I might have.
Doesn't mean I can believe it yet.
We have a child OUT OF BOOSTER SEATS.
Cra-zy!
Ethan earned his Wolf Badge.
This is his den leader, Kevin.

New Master Bedroom
Friday, April 16th and Saturday morning, April 17th, I held a garage sale. (Thanks to my friend Jenny who brought over some stuff and helped run it)
The kids ran a Snack Shack on Friday. Did pretty well.
(Advantage of being homeschooled - no other kid stand competition!)
Well, that entire week leading up to the garage sale, Dan was gone on a business trip to India.
So naturally, I thought to myself,
"what other major project should I undertake while being a single parent for a week?"
Naturally.
Anyhoo - I decided to surprise my wonderful husband with a master bedroom makeover.
Actually, it wasn't a makeover.
I should say I decided to surprise my husband with a Master "1st time ever decorated" Bedroom.
Ta-Da!!!!
Dan loved it!
Said it was calming and relaxing. Homey.
He even used the word amazing :)
Thanks SO much to my good friend Marci who stayed up until 3:00 am one night/morning to help me paint and put together the two new dressers.
I know I still have Easter and Birthday pictures to post. Will try to get those done this weekend!

March 2010
My Mama came for a visit :)
(That makes what? 3 good pics of us now, Mom?)
Mom's flight arrived around 11:00 pm.
I woke up Kaylin and took her with me :)
I'm pretty sure Grandma felt loved the whole trip.

Poor Ethan.
He had a fever/head cold 1/2 the time Gma was here :(

Holding my sick boy

Kaylin has taken to climbing our tree

(yelling "March of the minis" - it's what it says on 1 pair of Ethan's Mario pjs)
Anyhoo - all that sliding is hard on the footies!

Sweetie's bravery found new heights
Or as Kaylin asked, "Is this a real rub?"

She gave her sister a foot rub while Grandma worked on her back

One afternoon we went to the park

One of the main reasons we went to the park was for the swings

I just love this shot! :)
Wish you were still here.
....
Oh no! Not because of the backrubs...... I just love/miss you ;)
One night we played Family UNO

I know, I know - he'll be 8 next month.
Still. I never thought they'd be outta boosters!

The other day I was trying to explain what a "crows nest" was.
God provided a timely example :)
I just love this shot! :)
Thanks, Mom, for several of these pics I pirated off you ;)

One afternoon Mom and I were able to get away for a great Thai lunch and some shopping.

Kaylin and Ethan have really been enjoying the swings this Spring
One early March day I looked at my youngest child heading out the back door.
Her legs seemed too long. Her head too high. She slid the back door open waaaay too easily.
Where was my baby?
I decided to capture a few pics before she shot up anymore :(
