Backyard Pool - Summer 09

The kids had quite a bit of fun in our backyard pool this summer.

The yellow pool is on it's second season (I think - maybe 3...)

And what do I do while the children play in the pool, get out and run around, get in the pool, get out and run around, repeat 10 times and insert fudgecicle break???

I relax on my back patio swing.

Sometimes (often) with a book - sometimes just dozing.

Either way, this is summer! :)

(okay - sometimes I am actually in the kitchen making supper or trying to get a few dishes done... but the back door is open so I can hear them. I only worry if it gets quiet!)

Faith and Christian (my good friend and neighbor, Kim's 2 kids) came over one afternoon to play.

It was often girls chase boys

Oh look! A rare moment when at least most of them are in the pool!

... back to chasing!

The little ones got done first.

The older 3 had a good time with the pool to themselves.

Chris and Krys didn't mind, though.

They had the race track!
